There are many Cydia tweaks that allow iOS users to control music from different parts of the operating system. Joining the ever growing list is a new hack called QuickMusic that makes it more convenient for users to play, pause and perform other actions from the homescreen and the lockscreen. You can assign an Activator gesture of your choice to invoke QuickMusic no matter where you are on your device.
Perhaps that best thing about this tweak is the notification banner like music control bar that appears after you perform the assigned gesture. On this banner you can quickly play/pause a song or switch between them. The tweak also shows the current position of the song by filling the circle as seen in the image above.
You can change the appearance of QuickMusic by customizing its tint, blur level and color of the font. These changes have a significant impact on how the UI of the tweak appears. If you are using a theme or a wallpaper of certain color then you can change the colors to compliment well with your setup.
QuickMusic tweak is available in Cydia for $1.99 under Bigboss repo. It requires iOS 7.0 or above and works on iPhone and iPod touch.
