SurpriseSelfie Tweak Lets You Lock Access To Certain Photos

Do you find it annoying when you hand your iPhone or iPad over to someone and they start looking at your private photos. If yes, then you are going to love the SurpriseSelfie tweak for jailbroken devices. This tweak adds privacy to the Photos app, preventing others from getting unauthorized access to device owner’s photos.

With SurpriseSelfie you can choose to lock one or multiple photos. These photos are then protected with Touch ID and password. Once photos are locked user gets some fun options for what should happen when someone tries to access them. Users can choose to configure the tweak so whenever someone tries to access your locked images, the device takes a temporary photo using the front camera and display it to the culprit. More ‘surprise selfies’ are taken when each attempted swipe from the user.

If that is not your style, then you can also choose to display a custom image from the photo library or just prevent further swiping, and loop multiple photos.

Other features of the SurpriseSelfie tweak include activator gesture for enable/disable, support for video files stored in the camera roll and more.

You can download the SurpriseSelfie tweak from Cydia for $1. It works with iOS 9 and iOS 10 powered devices. iPad is also supported.
