Fans of popular iOS game Alto’s Adventure will be pleased to know that the game’s sequel Alto’s Odyssey has been released. Those interested in playing the game or those who pre-ordered it can download it from the App Store. The game was previously available for pre-order but has not launched for everyone.
As original game was praised for its addictive gameplay and beautiful graphics, Alto’s Odyssey has big shoes to fill. Unlike the previous version that featured snowy peaks and hills, this version is based in the desert where players will be sand-boarding through desert oasis.
To make things even more interesting it will feature different weather conditions including rain, storms and fog, which will noticeably affect the game’s environment for the user.
The game features 180 goals and allow users to chain combos. Players can also discover different objects like hot-air balloons, moving grind rails and wall riding. They can unlock six unique characters, all of which come with their own unique abilities and attributes.
There’s also a ‘zen mode’ that features a serene soundtrack, so you can enjoy the endless desert. Zen Mode has no scores, coins or power ups.
Alto’s Odyssey, which launches on February 22nd is also available for pre-order through the App Store at a price of $4.99.
Update: The game has launched ahead of schedule and is now available to buy.
