The popular Fez console and PC game has made its way to iOS, and it is now available for download. Although the game is titled Fez Pocket Edition, it is a full port of the original console game and is not a stripped down version. The company behind Fez is Polytron, which had plans of releasing the game to iOS since 2013 and in 2017 they have finally delivered.
Fez is a mind-bending game that features the character Gomez, who lives in a 2D world, but ends up discovering the mysterious 3rd dimension. Players have to navigate through 3D structures. Users are given on-screen virtual controller buttons for the gameplay, which according to the game’s maker worked better than gesture based controls.
Fez Pocket Edition requires iOS 8 or above and works on iPhone 5s or above and iPad Air or above. You can buy it from the App Store for $4.99.
