Are you getting the iCloud Storage full error on your iPhone? When this happens, your iPhone is no longer able to back up your photos, videos, app data, WhatsApp data, and more to the iCloud backup.
In this tutorial, we will show you how you can easily add more storage to your iPhone by adding or upgrading your iCloud storage plan. The steps detailed in this guide work in 2025 and are performed on iOS 26.
Add more iCloud storage on iPhone
Before you begin, make sure your Apple account has a valid payment method added.
- On your iPhone, launch the Settings app and tap on your name at the top.
- On the next page, tap on the iCloud option.
- Scroll down and tap on Manage Plan.
- Next, select your desired storage plan from options that include 50GB, 200GB, 2 TB, 6TB, and 12TB. Each option will also have its monthly subscription price listed alongside.
- After choosing your option, tap on the Upgrade Plan button.
- Confirm the purchase by double pressing the side button and performing a Face ID scan or entering your Apple ID password.
Remember, you are billed monthly for the iCloud storage plan you have chosen. If you opted for a larger storage plan, then you can share it with your family members by enabling Family Sharing feature.
