iPhone has a super useful Screen Time feature that allows users to check their iPhone usage and screen time over the past 7 days with daily averages.
By checking your Screen Time stats you can see how much time you spend using your iPhone today and your daily average usage. You can also find out how much of that time was spent on social apps, productivity apps, games, and more.
iOS even shows how much time you spend on each app. So you can see how much time you spend scrolling through Instagram, watching YouTube, or browsing the web in Safari.
Steps to check Screen Time are the same on both iOS 18 and iOS 17.
Check Screen Time on iPhone or iPad
Here’s how you can check your iPhone and iPad Screen Time.
- On iPhone or iPad open Settings.
- Tap on the Screen Time option.
- On the next page tap on the ‘See All App & Website Activity‘ option.
- Switch between Day and Week tabs to see your usage stats.
You can also scroll down to see which apps you have spent the most time in. The feature will tell you the exact amount of time spent in each app.
Another handy stat that you can find by scrolling down is Pickups. This is the number of times you picked up your iPhone. You will also be shown the list of apps you launched after every pickup.
