If you own a pair of AirPods Pro 2, then you would have noticed that you don’t get the Off Listening Mode option. Instead, you are limited to Transparency, Adaptive, and Noise Cancellation options.
This can be annoying if you want to completely disable Listening modes on your AirPods Pro 2, just like you could on the first-generation AirPods Pro.
Thankfully, Apple allows users to add the Off option to their AirPods Pro’s listening modes. You can get it by following these steps.
- Connect your AirPods Pro to your iPhone by placing them in your ears.
- When you go to Settings and tap on the AirPods Pro option from the top. If you don’t see it, then head over to Bluetooth Settings and tap on the I button next to their name.
- Now scroll down and find the toggle for Off listening mode. Turn this on.
- You will get a pop-up warning. Simply tap on the Ok option.
Now scroll up, and as you can see, Off listening mode is now available as an option. You can also find it in the Control Center, where you can now choose between Off, Transparency, Adaptive, and Noise Cancellation options.
That’s it, this is how you can get the Off Listening mode option for your AirPods Pro 2.
