Give Messages app Android Lollipop inspired look with these tweaks

For those of you who have recently migrated from Android to iOS or simply like the design of the stock messages app of Android Lollipop’s Messaging app we have a simple guide. By following this guide you can actually get the Android Lollipop Messaging app inspired look on the stock Messages application. For this you will need to have Winterboard and a tweak called ‘Messages Customiser’ installed on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Follow the instructions below to change the look of conversation page of Messages app.

First of all open Cydia and download the ‘Android Lollipop Messages’ theme from ModMyi repo. Then open Winterboard and apply it. After applying the theme you will be able to see the new shape of bubbles in the Messages app’s conversation page.

Now open Cydia one more time and add http://chewitt.me/repo to your sources. Afterwards search for ‘Messages Customiser‘ and download it. After doing so open the tweak’s preferences from Settings and change the tint and colors for bubbles to whatever you like. Make sure you restart the Messages app after making the changes for them to take affect.

That’s it. Now you have a completely different look on the conversation page that looks a lot like Android Lollipop’s Messaging app.
