How to import SIM contacts to your new iPhone

If you have bought a new iPhone then the first thing you would want to do is import all of your contacts to phone’s memory in order to access them. The process of importing SIM contacts to iPhone’s memory is very simple and can be done in just a few steps.

In this post we will show you how you can import SIM contacts to your new iPhone. Let’s get started.

1 ) Insert SIM into your iPhone and turn it on.

2 ) Once your SIM is inserted launch the Settings.app and then go to the ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars’ option.

3 ) Scroll down a little and you will find ‘Import SIM Contacts’ button. Tap on it.

4 ) Now you will see a menu asking where you want to import your contacts. Select ‘On My iPhone’. Now the process of importing your SIM contacts to your device will start. On this step you can also import your contacts to cloud services you are using such as Yahoo!, iCloud or Google contacts.

5 ) Once importing is complete you will find all of your SIM contacts in the Contacts.app of your iPhone.
