Step 1. Launch the Camera app on your iPhone and swipe up on the viewfinder area.

Step 2. From the menu that appears right below the viewfinder tap on the button with a flash icon.

Step 3. From the available options such as Auto, On, and Off, choose the ‘On’ option.

After choosing the On option for the iPhone camera flash you will notice that the flash button located on the top left corner of the screen has become yellow. This indicates that iPhone 15’s camera flash will turn on every time you take a photo.

You can also force enable flash on iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro for video recording. First, switch to the video recording mode in the Camera app and follow the same steps given above. After enabling flash for video recording, your iPhone’s flash will remain on even when you are not recording the video.

  1. Thanks for the info. Couldn’t figure out why the flash wasn’t coming on on my 15Plus even though it shows in the upper left that it’s on. What Apple has done here is not intuitive. Annoying. They need more regular-people as beta testers!
