Apple has just released iOS 17.1 Public beta and it is now available for download for those registered with Apple’s Public Beta Program. Along with iOS 17.1 public beta the company has also released macOS 14.1 public beta, watchOS 10.1 public beta, and tvOS 17.1 public beta.

Of course, along with iOS 17.1, the public beta for iPadOS 17.1 is also available for download.

Today’s public beta release comes a day after Apple released iOS 17.1 Developer beta 1.

If you are a public beta tester, then you can head over to the Software Update section of your device by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update -> Beta Updates and selecting iOS 17 Public Beta. Then you can download iOS 17.1 Public Beta on your device.

Remember in order to get the iOS 17 Public Beta option in Settings, you have to sign up for Apple Public Beta Program first.

As we reported yesterday, iOS 17.1 brings a number of changes to iPhones. This includes a new Flashlight indicator for the Dynamic Island, a new Favorites button in the Music app, a new artwork library for users so they can set artwork for their playlists, and support for UK banks to see their current account’s balances in the Wallet app.
