In this guide, we show you how you can see your step count on iPhone without any third-party app or even an Apple Watch.

What many users don’t know is that their iPhone tracks their daily steps on its own automatically. Even if you don’t own an Apple Watch, your iPhone will track your steps and display your daily, weekly, and monthly walking trends to you.

Here’s how you can view your step count on iPhone inside the built-in Health app.

  1. Unlock your iPhone and open the Health app.
  2. Go to the Summary tab from the bottom.
  3. Here, tap on the ‘Show All Health Data’ option.
  4. On the next page, tap on the Steps option.

On the next screen, you will be able to see your total steps for the day, weekly, monthly, and yearly trends, along with Graphs showing your activity over time.

This is a great way to see your walking data and track how many steps you are taking every day. The best part? You don’t need to download any app or wear an Apple Watch to track steps.
