Swipe Up To Access Shuffle And Repeat Buttons In iOS 10.2 Music App

If you have updated your device to iOS 10.2 and haven’t been able to find the Shuffle and Repeat buttons, then you have come to the right place. Apple has slightly repositioned these important buttons in the Music app, making it easier for users to access them from the Now Playing screen and also making them more visible. However finding them for the first time can be tricky for some users. In this post we will show you how you can access the Shuffle and Repeat buttons on the iOS 10.2 Music app.

Launch the Music application on your iOS 10.2 or above and play any song. When on the Now Playing screen simply swipe up. This should reveal the Shuffle and Repeat buttons. When the buttons are not activated they will have a grey background however as soon as you tap on them they will turn red indicating Shuffle or Repeat are on. You can tap on the Repeat button twice to only repeat a single track instead of the whole playlist of album.
