iPhone has a useful feature called Auto Brightness, which allows it do make its display brighter or dimmer based on the ambient lighting conditions of the user’s environment. For example, iPhone can dim its display whenever you are in a dark environment and it can make its display brighter when you are in a well-lit room or in sunlight. Keeping Auto Brightness enabled also helps in improving battery life.
