
In this guide, we show you how you can hide Live Activities from your iPhone’s Lock Screen. iOS has a handy feature called Live Activities, which shows real-time updates from apps like workouts, sports scores, ride or delivery tracking right on the Lock Screen.
If you want to prevent Live Activities from appearing on your iPhone’s Lock Screen, then you have the option to turn them off.
In the second half of this guide, we will also show you how you can completely disable Live Activities on a per-app basis.
Turn off Live Activities
- Open the Settings app and tap on Face ID & Passcode.
- Enter your iPhone’s passcode and scroll down on the next page.
- Under the ‘Allow Access When Locked’ section, find the Live Activities toggle.
- Turn it off.
This will prevent Live Activities from appearing on your device’s Lock Screen.
Disable Live Activities completely
If you want to turn off Live Activities completely for a specific app, then you can follow the steps below.
- Open Settings and go to Apps.
- Find and tap on the app you want to disable Live Activities for.
- On the next page, find the Live Activities option and tap on it.
- Here, turn off the toggle for Live Activities.
This will turn on the Live Activities feature for this specific app.
