Location Services are an important feature of the iPhone that allows you to use certain apps that require location data. When Location Services are disabled you can not use certain apps effectively.
Turn on Location Services
You can turn on location services on your iPhone or iPad by following the steps below.
Step 1. Go to Settings and tap on Privacy & Security.
Step 2. On the next page tap on the ‘Location Services’ option.
Step 3. Now turn On the toggle for ‘Location Services’.
Step 4. Scroll down and look for the app you want to set specific location services settings for and tap on it.
Step 5. From the next page select between Never, Ask Next Time or When I Share, While Using the App, and Always options.
Here you can also turn off the toggle for Precise Location. When this toggle is disabled iOS hides your specific location from an app and only shares approximate location with it.
