In this guide, we show you how you can quickly update all apps on your iPhone or iPad with just a single tap.
If you have tons of apps installed on your device, and always end up with tens if not hundreds of apps that require to be updated, then updating them one by one can be time consuming.
Thankfully it is super simple to update all apps at once. In this guide we show you exactly how to do it. In the second half of this guide, will also show you how to activate automatic updates for apps.
Update All Apps on iPhone
- Unlock your iPhone and launch the App Store.
- Tap on your profile picture from top right corner.
- Scroll down to the list of apps with available updates.
- Tap on the ‘Update All’ button located at the top of the list.
As soon as you tap on Update All, all apps with pending updates will start updating and should be ready to use in no time.
Automate app updating
If you like, you can also turn on Automatic Updates for apps, and make iOS update apps without requiring any action from you. For this follow these steps.
- Open the Settings app and scroll down.
- Tap on the Apps option.
- From the next page, find and tap on App Store.
- Now, under Automatic Downloads, turn on the toggle for App Downloads.
That’s it, this is how you can update apps on your iPhone quickly and with minimum effort. We also showed you how you can automate this process by enabling Automatic App Downloads.
