Apple has just released iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 software update for all supported devices and it is now available for download. watchOS 8 and tvOS 15 updates have also been released on all supported Apple Watch and Apple TV models.
The public release of iOS 15.0 and iPadOS 15.0 comes after around a 3 month long developer and public beta testing period in which Apple released 8 beta updates for bug fixes.
iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 are major upgrades that bring a ton of new features and improvements to iPhones and iPads.
The build number for final release of iOS 15.0 is 19A346, which is different than the build number of iOS 15 RC release last week, since that ended with 44.
New features in iOS 15
iOS 15 is a major release for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, as it brings wide range of new features to the iOS operating system.
With iOS 15 Apple is adding new features to FaceTime, New Focus feature, New Notification Summary feature, New features and enhancements for Maps, a redesign for Safari with new tab bar design and tab groups.
Photos app improvements have also been introduced in this update that includes Live Text and Visual Look Up. Other changes include Spotlight improvements, better privacy features, iCloud Private Relay, Mail Privacy Protection and Hide My Email feature and more.

New in iPadOS 15
Wondering what’s new in iPadOS 15? Along with all of the features mentioned above, Apple has also added many new features to iPadOS that are designed to make iPad even more powerful. This includes brand new Multitasking feature that adds a new multitasking menu to the iPad and makes using multiple apps side by side easier.
The Center Window feature allows users to quickly bring up an email, message or note at the center of the screen without leaving the current view.
The new Shelf feature of iPadOS shows all the currently opened windows for an app, and allows them to quickly switch between them with ease. On App Switcher iPadOS 15 now allows users to create new Split View spaces by dragging one app over the other.
New keyboard shortcuts list has been added to iPadOS that allows users to hold command key on an external keyboard to view shortcuts for an app, multitasking and more.
In iOS 15 App Library has finally been added to iPad along with the ability to place widgets anywhere on the home screen.
The Quick Notes feature of iPad allows users to quickly start note taking anywhere over any app or screen. Users can use their Apple Pencil or use the on-screen keyboard to type on the Quick Note.

New in watchOS 8
Today Apple has also released watchOS 8 update. This update brings many new features to the Apple Watch including new Portrait watch face, Memories feature for Photos app, new security features for Watch app, new Wallet app features including Home key and driving license support, and new Messages app features.

In order to download watchOS 8 first install iOS 15 on your iPhone. Then head over to the Watch app and go to My Watch tab -> General -> Software Update.
