Moments after Apple announced iPhone X, the first thing that came to many people’s mind was ‘where’s the plus model?’. Sure iPhone X has a larger screen than iPhone 8 and technically its screen is 5.8-inches, which is larger than 5.5-inches on the Plus models. However the screen is noticeably narrower than iPhone 8 Plus, and that it looks like a big deal for those who have been using iPhone’s Plus models of years.
Now rumors are strong that next year Apple will release an edge-to-edge iPhone with a larger 6.7-inch display. Based on these rumors designer Martin Hajek has created what an iPhone X’s Plus version could look like. Hajek notes that he chose the 6.7-inch screen size for his renders after considering the ratio difference between the screen sizes of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
It is very likely that Apple will release a plus size model in addition to the 5.8-inch iPhone. That device with a screen size of around 6.7-inches will have a footprint similar to that of iPhone 8 Plus but will feature a much larger display. Such a device will give much more real estate to iPhone users, allowing them to enjoy their content in a much larger space.
