One week after releasing iOS 14 developer beta 5, Apple has today released iOS 14 developer beta 6 and it is now available for download. New developer betas for both iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 are available for download.

If you have an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running iOS 14 developer beta, then you can head over to the Software Update section of your iPhone in order to update your device to the latest beta version.

The update is just over 430MB on iPhone 11 Pro Max and has a build number of 18A5357e.

Alongside iOS 14 beta 6, watchOS 7 developer beta 6 is available to download for devices running the watchOS 7 beta.

iOS 14 beta 6 changes

  • A new toggle for Spatial Audio feature of AirPods Pro has been added in Settings > Accessibility > AirPods. When this toggle is enabled users will find Spatial Audio toggles in Control Center and Settings app’s Bluetooth menu. Spatial Audio feature is currently unavailable.
  • A new Splash screen for Apple Maps app which tells the user about Navigation, Explore and Discover features.
  • Bug fixes and improvements related to Encrypted APFS, Control Center’s AirPlane Mode and Control Center’s Phone indicator that shows ‘Phone’ along with microphone icon to indicate device’s mic is being used by the Phone app.
