Apple has released iOS 14 and iPadOS 14 beta 8 to developers today and the update is now available for download on compatible devices. The release comes 6 days before the scheduled Apple Time Flies event, which is scheduled for September 15th.
If you’re running iOS 14 beta on your device, then you can head over to the Settings app to download beta 8 over-the-air. The build number for this release is 18A5373a and it is a relatively smaller update in size with just 101.1MB of download.
No major changes or new features have been discovered in iOS 14 developer beta 8 as of yet, however we will be updating this post with changes if any are discovered.
In addition to the iOS update new betas for watchOS 7 and tvOS 14 have also been made available and can be downloaded on their respective devices.
Now that Apple has reportedly delayed its iPhone event until October, it is likely that the company will release iOS 14 Golden Master build (GM) on September 15 while announcing the public release date on the same day. This will be first time for the company to release a major iOS update without introducing a new iPhone.
