If you are planning to pre-order the newly announced iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max, or you just want to buy them online without going to an Apple Store, then choosing the right model can be a tricky experience.
Thankfully Apple is offering a cool Augmented Reality based experience on its website that enables users to not only view their favorite new iPhone from various angles in AR but also rotate the device and see it from all sides in 3D. This tool enables iPhone buyers to see the device in a way that was not possible a few years ago and can help them in deciding if they like the look and feel of the device by putting it in the ‘real world’.
By using the iPhone Augmented Reality demonstration you can virtually place the new iPhones in your room and move around to see how they look from various angles. The iPhone AR demonstration is so detailed that the device’s color changes as you move your device around it. You can also resize the AR iPhone by pinching in or out on it. This is great for checking out new iPhone colors such as the iPhone 11 Pro’s Midnight Green finish. In fact the iPhone 11 Pro’s AR demo shows the iPhone in the new Midnight Green color.
You can also switch to the ‘Object’ mode by tapping on its tab from the top. In this mode you can see a still 3D object view of the devices and use your finger to move around it.
You can experience the new iPhones in AR and 3D by going to Apple product pages for these devices for iPhone 11 or iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max through any iOS device that is compatible with ARKit. From there tap on See iPhone in AR option.
