Renders based on allegedly leaked schematics show how iPhone 6 might look like

It is that time of the year when rumors about the upcoming iPhone and iPad models start to get wild. This year iPhone 6 (or the seventh generation iPhone) is expected to feature a radical redesign that just like iPhone 5 will feature a larger screen than the previous models. Rumors suggest that this year’s iPhone will feature a screen size of 4.7-inch to 5.7-inch, although the later one seems less likely.

iPhone 6 schematics

Last month a few schematics were leaked by a Japanese magazine allegedly revealing the design of the next generation iPhone. The iPhone 6 shown in the schematics seems to have taken inspiration from the look of iPad mini and iPad Air. This makes sense as it would make all iOS products look similar to each other, which includes iPad mini, iPad Air, iPod touch 5th gen. and the upcoming iPhone.

Based on the schematics shown above MacRumors has produced renders that give us a better idea of how iPhone 6 might look like. The renders not only show us how an iPhone with 4.7-inch and 5.7-inch display will look like but also compare them with the current iOS devices including the iPhone 5s and iPad mini giving us a good idea about the size difference.

With the success of smartphone models that have bigger displays and rise in demand it is more likely than ever that Apple will finally switch to an even bigger screen size than the iPhone 5s, which already has a larger display than pre-iPhone 5 models.

Last week Apple’s internal slides also surfaced that revealed company’s interests in making an iPhone model with larger displays. The slides very clearly stated that “customers want what we don’t have” hinting towards the rise of demand and popularity of the smartphones that have bigger screens.

What do you think about these renders? Would you buy an iPhone 6 that looks like the device shown in the renders? Let us know in the comments below.
