Apple has announced a new special that will be taking place on October 30. The event is headlined ‘Scary fast’ and will be taking place online. The special event will be streamed on Apple’s website and YouTube at 5 PM PT or 8 PM ET.

This is the first time Apple is holding its special media event at night time as usually, Apple’s keynote events take place at 10 AM PT. The nighttime and the tagline for the event appear to be in line with the Spooky theme of Halloween.

At the ‘Scary fast’ event, Apple is expected to announce new iMacs and introduce specs upgrades for MacBook Pros. The event is supposed to be Mac-focused. This is signified by the animated version of animated version of the invite graphic that turns into a Mac Finder-like face.

There have been rumors regarding Apple updating its iPad lineup, specifically introducing the updated iPad Air and iPad mini. It would be interesting if these products were also updated on October 30.
