Apple has announced a special event with the tagline ‘Welcome Home’ for October 13. The company is expected to announce new products at the event.
The announcement was made by Apple’s SVP of Worldwide Marketing Greg Joswiak. The company is expected to reveal several new products at the event including a new Apple TV 4K, HomePad, and HomePod mini 2.
The HomePad is particularly interesting. It is rumored to be a device with a small display, speakers and a robotic swiveling base. It is expected to be a AI hub that will allow users to control smart home devices and perform other actions with their voice and touch controls.
The company is hosting an ‘Apple Experience’ event in Tribeca, New York (via MKBHD). The event will kick off at 9AM ET.
