Apple’s Back To School 2017 Launches With Free Beats Headphones For Students

Apple has launched the back to school offer in United States and Canada, making it possible for eligible students, their parents and educators to get free pair of Beats headphones when they buy an eligible model of a Mac from company’s education store. The offer will be available for a limited time starting on July 12 until September 25, 2017.

What models are included in Apple’s Back to School 2017 offer?

The list includes the 12-inch Mac, MacBook Pro models, MacBook Air, the iMac and Mac Pro. The Mac mini is not included in the offer. If you are buying a refurbished Mac this year, then you are out of luck, too.

For students, parents of students and educators who purchase an eligible Mac model Apple is offering a choice between BeatsX, Beats Solo3 and Powerbeats 3.

If you purchase an iPad Pro 10.5-inch or 12.9-inch from the education store you get BeatsX for free. You also get the option of paying $50 extra and get Beats PowerBeats3 instead or pay $150 extra and get Beats Solo3 wireless. The 9.7-inch and iPad mini 4th generation are not included in the Back to School 2017 promotion.

The offer is available at Apple’s online store, retail stores and authorized campus store.

While the Back to School 2017 offer is currently being offered to buyers in United States and Canada only, it is expected to expand to countries like the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Mexico and Singapore in the coming days.
