Apple has just seeded the Shortcuts app Gold Master version and it is now available for download to those who are testing the app on their devices. If you are a beta tester who is running shortcuts beta on his or her iPhone or iPad, then head over to the Test Flight application and update to Shortcuts GM Seed.
Apple has not detailed if any major changes have been made in the GM seed of the application, as under the ‘What to Test’ section it just says ‘Shortcuts GM seed’.
Shortcuts app makes it possible for users to create powerful shortcuts for both stock and third-party applications. Apple has been beta testing the Shortcuts app with beta testers for past few months and it looks like the final version of the app will be available for users on day 1, when iOS 12 is released on September 17th. Once you have created your shortcut you can trigger it through the Shortcuts app, the Shortcuts widget and more importantly through Siri.
In addition to giving users ability to add new shortcuts, the Shortcuts app for iOS offers a bunch of ready to use shortcuts found under the ‘Gallery’ section of the app.
