Apple has released iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2 security updates and they are now available for download. In addition to iOS 17.1.2, Apple has also released macOS Sonama 14.1.2 security updates for all Macs that support macOS 14.
iOS 17.1.2, iPadOS 17.1.2, and macOS Sonama are important releases that are recommended for all users. These security updates bring patches for 2 vulnerabilities related to WebKit that are being exploited in the wild.
You can download iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2 over the air by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update. The updates are also available through direct download links that we have shared below.
You can use iTunes or Finder to install iOS 17.1.2 IPSW on your device. The build number for today’s release is 21B101.
Apple has released iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2 while it testing iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2 with developer and public beta testers. iOS 17.2 update is expected to be released sometime in December.
