Apple has just released the iOS 17.5 update for all users and it is now available to download. Along with iOS 17.5, we are also seeing the release of iPadOS 17.5 for iPads.

iOS 17.5 is a major release that brings several changes to the iPhones and iPads.
With this update, Apple has brought big changes for Apple News. This includes a new offline mode for Apple News+ users that allows them to access the Today and News+ tabs without an Internet connection.
A new Apple News game called Quartiles has been added for Apple News+ subscribers. The Scoreboard in News+ puzzles also gives users access to player data for Quartiles, Crossword, and Mini Crossword games.
In the iOS 17.5 change log Apple also notes that iOS now supports Cross-Platform Tracking Detection, so now it will send tracking detection notifications to users if a Bluetooth tracker that they do not own is moving with them regardless of what operating system it is paired with.
