Apple has released iOS 17 Developer Beta 2 and the update is now available for download. In addition to iOS 17 beta 2, the company has also released iPadOS 17 developer beta 2, macOS 14 beta 2, watchOS 10 beta 2, and tvOS 17 beta 2.
If you are a developer beta tester, you can head over to the Software Update section of your device and update to the latest version of the beta. The build number for today’s beta release is 21A5268h.
Apple released iOS 17 Developer Beta 1 right after its WWDC 2023 keynote on June 6. Today’s update comes almost 15 days after the release of the first beta.
Today’s update is expected to bring a bunch of bug fixes and performance improvements found in the initial beta release of iOS 17.
Up until now, iOS 17 beta is limited to developers only although Apple no longer requires users to have a paid developer account to get access to iOS 17 developer beta.
Apple has announced that it will be releasing a public beta of iOS 17 in July. We expect iOS 17 public beta to get released along with iOS 17 Developer beta 3 next month.
