Apple has just officially rolled out its latest round of major software updates for everyone. After months of developer and public beta testing, the company has today launched iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26 to all users.

All of these updates are available for free download now. You can download them on your compatible iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro. Just head over to Settings or System Preferences to install the latest version.

iOS 26: Liquid Glass, Live Translation, Calling Features, and more
iOS 26 is one of the biggest iOS updates that we have seen in the recent past. This update introduces a brand new Liquid Glass design on iPhones that not only redefines how iOS looks and feels but also how it functions. The new design can be seen in all parts of the operating system, including the lock screen, home screen, control center, apps, first and third-party apps, and more.
The new update also brings features like Live Translation within various apps, a redesigned Phone app, new call screening features, Hold Assist, CarPlay redesign, and enhancements. Messages app got a new sender screening feature along with the Polls feature, which will make iMessage groups more fun. You can also add backgrounds to Message conversations.
New features for Maps, Music, Photos, Wallet, Games, and others will make your life easier.

iPadOS 26:Liquid Glass, Window Management, Preview app, and more
Just like iOS, iPadOS 26 also brings the brand new Liquid Glass design to iPads that can be seen in all parts of the OS. This year’s update goes beyond visual changes, as we are also getting a new windowing system that brings iPadOS closer to a full-fledged desktop operating system. This new windowing system makes multitasking a breeze and allows you to use multiple apps in a windowed interface.
Other features include a brand new Preview app for managing PDFs, the ability to put folders in the dock, a live translation feature in Messages, FaceTime, and Phone. You also get a supercharged Files app that now lets you change Folder colors, an updated list view with features like resizable columns and collapsible folders, a background tasks feature, Apple Intelligence enhancements, and much more.
macOS 26: Liquid Glass, Boosted Spotlight search, better Continuity, and more
macOS Tahoe also gets the all-new Liquid Glass design along with new continuity features that will give you full access to the Phone app and Live Activities from your iPhone. Spotlight search has received a major boost in this update, and now lets you take actions within apps and get easy access to apps. The Shortcuts app has become more powerful and takes advantage of Apple Intelligence.

watchOS 26: New design, Sleep Score, Watch Faces, and more
It brings new features like Sleep Score, a new Liquid Glass design, a new smart stack that gives you quick access to different actions, the ability to dismiss notifications with a flick of a wrist, and smart actions in the Messages app. We are also getting new watch faces like Flow and Exactograph. On Apple Watch Ultra, a new Waypoint watch face is also making its way.
visionOS 26 and tvOS 26
visionOS 26: This is a big update for Apple Vision Pro users as it brings features like widgets and apps that blend in your physical space, Spatial scenes enhancements, improved and more natural personas, shared experiences with other Apple Vision Pro users, Spatial Browsing in Safari with 3D models, and more.
tvOS 26: tvOS 26 also gets a new Liquid Glass design along with features like Apple Music Sing, new FaceTime Contact Posters, support for Live Captions, and more.
