Apple has just released iOS 27 Beta 4 for developers and it is now available for download. If you are a developer who is beta testing iOS 27 on his or her devices, then you can head over to the Software Update section of your device and install the update.
iOS 27 Beta 4 is the fourth installment in Apple’s Beta Releases for iOS 27. Apple is expected to continue the release of iOS 27 Betas both for developers and public beta testers until the fall. The build number for iOS 27 Beta 4 is 23G71.
Along with iOS 27, Beta 4 for iPadOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27 have also been released. If you are beta testing any of these, then open Software Update section on your device and install his update.
Changes in iOS 27 Beta 4
- Apple has fixed the depth effect bug introduced in iOS 27 Beta 3, restoring the feature to its intended behavior.
- Siri now displays a redesigned splash screen when you activate it from the Dynamic Island or by swiping down on the Home Screen.
- Two enhanced Siri voices now fully support Pace and Expressivity controls, while the five legacy voices still display these options as “Coming Soon.”
- According to MacWorld, iOS 27 Beta 4 contains code references to iPhones with multiple batteries. Here’s a excerpt from the article: “The new code strings explicitly state that they are intended for a multi-battery iPhone, alongside the existing references to single-battery iPhones (emphasis ours): “The batteries in this iPhone are performing as expected,” reads one of the strings. Another mentions that “the health of the batteries in this iPhone has significantly degraded.””
