The report comes from reliable analyst Ming Chi-Kuo (via), who in his research note says that AirPods Pro will launch in the end of 2022.
The next generation of AirPods Pro, which will be its second generation is expected to feature Fitness Tracking features, which will make it a more useful tool than just a pair of noise cancelling headphones. Details on what those health and fitness tracking features might be are scarce and unreliable however we have heard that the headphones could feature blood pressure monitoring among other things.
In addition to health and fitness features it is also rumored that the new AirPods Pro will have a new design with no stems, significantly upgraded chip and more.
Apple currently sells AirPods Pro with MagSafe charging for $249 on its official website however you can grab a pair for a much lower price of $179 from Amazon.
