Apple has released iOS 16.7.3 and iPadOS 16.7.3 updates for older generations of iPhones and iPads. These updates have been released for devices that are not supported by iOS 17 and iPadOS 17.
With iOS 16.7.3 and iPadOS 16.7.3, Apple has introduced bug fixes and security updates to make the iOS experience better for users that have older generations of iPhones.
The build number for today’s release is 20H232, which is the same as that of the iOS 16.7.3 Release Candidate, which was released last week.
If you have an iPhone X, iPhone 8, or an iPhone 8 Plus, then you can download iOS 16.7.3 over the air on your device.
Similarly, those with an iPad 6th generation, iPad 5th generation, 12.9-inch iPad Pro (1st generation), and 9.7-inch iPad Pro (1st generation) can download iPadOS 16.7.3 on their devices by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
