Evolution of iOS 7 shown in one graphic

After not updating iOS for several years it seems like apple has finally learned its lesson. Since the release of iOS 7 the company has made several changes to its UI elements to further refine the looks of one of world’s most popular mobile operating system.

iOS 7.1 beta 3 that was made available yesterday also features several visual enhancement that are enough to prove that Apple is still working on the looks of iOS and will make further changes in the upcoming updates.

The following graphic has been made by iOS hacker and designer Sentry who has compared different versions of iOS to demonstrate how the UI has evolved since the first release of iOS 7. The screenshots show us how positions, shapes and colors have changed over the course of few months.

  1. I actually liked the first beta the most. I am really going to miss that profile photo appearing all screen during the call (2nd and 3rd row). 🙁
