Apple has released iOS 26.4.2 and iPadOS 26.4.2 software updates, and it is now available on all iOS 26-compatible devices. This update comes less than 2 weeks after the release of iOS 26.4.1.
You can now head over to the Software Update section of your device (Settings -> General -> Software Update) and install the update over the air.
This is an important release and brings important bug fixes and security updates for iPhone and iPad users.
In addition to releasing the update over the air, Apple has also released iOS 26.4.2 IPSW files, which you can download using the links below. After downloading iOS 26.4.2 and iPadOS 26.4.2 IPSW files to your computer, you can use iTunes on Windows and Finder on Mac to install the update to your device manually.
