The latest iPhone 14 Pro rumor claims the flagship iPhone will feature 48-megapixel camera. The report comes from Taiwanese research firm Trendforce according to which this is finally the year in which we will bid farewell to the 12-megapixel rear camera.
This is not the first time that we have heard iPhone 14 Pro will feature a 48-megapixel rear camera, as other sources that includes reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo have also claimed iPhone 14 Pro will finally get a higher resolution camera on its back. Previous reports have also claimed that the upgraded camera will allow Pro models to record 8K video.
iPhone 14 is expected to be a big release from Apple, which is expected to finally get rid of the large camera notch and replace it with a small pill shaped camera cutout. In addition to that iPhone 14 is also expected to feature design enhancements, faster processors and no rear camera bump.

We have also heard rumors that Apple could launch iPhone 14 models without a physical SIM card slot in the US, transitioning completely to an eSIM only design.
iPhone 14 lineup will be announced by Apple in the month of September with the release of the product happening shortly after the event.
