We have been hearing about Apple’s plans for releasing premium over-ear headphones, which the company is going to call AirPods Studio. We reported about the AirPods Studio (codename B515) product a few years ago when the news about the product leaked back in 2018.
Now leaker @choco_bit, who goes by the name of Fudge on Twitter has posted photo and video in which he claims to show the AirPods Studio in real life. The photo shows the AirPods Studio wireless headphones in black while the video shows them in white color. The photos show a simplistic and premium looking design with HomePod like mesh on the top band and ear pads.

I did say they looked a bit worse IMO pic.twitter.com/AiYNMyfktR

Jon Prosser, who is another well known leaker has posted renders of the so called AirPods Studio, which clearly show us the design and look of these headphones. Alongside the renders Prosser has shared some information about the headphones such as the headphones will have high quality leather, magnetic ear cups, reversible design and ability to detect the Right and Left ear.
In addition to that Prosser notes that the headphones will not feature a headphone jack, meaning the audio transfer will be wireless only. The device will have a USB-C port for charging. It is interesting to see that Apple is not putting its Lightning port on it.
Rumors claim that Apple plans to announce the AirPods Studio headphones at its iPhone event, which is expected to take place in October of this year. Details about the pricing are not available yet, however reports have pointed towards a price point between $350 to $500.
