Apple has partnered with TikTok to give out 4 months of free Apple Music subscription to users who have not signed up for Apple Music yet. The TikTok Apple Music promotion comes after Apple has been offering 5 months of Apple Music subscription to users of Shazam.
Users who sign up for Apple Music through the TikTok app on iOS will be getting 4 months of free subscription. That is one month more than what new users usually get when signing up for Apple Music for the first time from inside the Music app.
iPhone users currently see an ad inside the TikTok app promoting Apple Music and the 4-month free trial. The ad seems to be showing up for users randomly.
As expected the offer is only valid for users who have never sign up for or used Apple Muisc on their Apple account before. If you have already taken advantage of the 3 month free subscription, then you only get 1 month free from this offer.
Users will be automatically charged the standard Apple Music subscription fee i.e. $9.99 per month for individual accounts after the end of the 4-month trial period. The campaign will last until January 2021. (via)
