Right along side today’s iOS 16.0.3 update, Apple has also released watchOS 9.0.2 update for Apple Watch users and it is now available for download.
watchOS 9.0.2 has been released to fix bugs related to microphone and Spotify audio streaming.
According to Apple’s change log for watchOS 9.0.2 this update fixes the issue that caused interruptions when streaming audio with Spotify app. The update also fixes the issue faced by users of Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Ultra when audio from microphone would get interrupted on these devices.
In addition to the bugs mentioned above watchOS 9.0.2 fixes the bug that caused the snoozed alarm notifications to continue after the alarm had been deleted for AssistiveTouch users.
A bug that caused Wallet and Fitness app to not sync on newly paired Apple Watch has also been fixed in this release.
Apple Watch users can now go to Watch app -> My Watch -> General -> Software update to download watchOS 9.0.2 on their devices.
