Thanks to efficient power distribution in its 3-port design, this charger can distribute different amounts of power to its ports and adjust the power delivery based on the requirements of the user. The USB-C1 port of this charger can output up to 65W power, which makes it ideal for charging a device like M2 MacBook Air, which can charge from 0% to 51% in just 30 minutes.
The USB-C2 port can output a maximum of 30W while the USB-A port on this charge is capable of charging devices at up to 22.5W speeds. When all three ports are in use, the charger intelligently distributes the power and delivers 45W on USB-C1, 7.5W on USB-C2, and 7.5W on the USB-A port.

My experience with the Ugreen Nexode RG 65W Charger
After testing the Ugreen Nexode RG 65W USB C GaN Charger for over a month I am ready to share my verdict. First let’s talk about the charger side of things, as no matter how ‘cute’ a charger gets it is only good if it performs its basic function well, which is to charge the devices. I am happy to report that this 65W charger does an excellent job of keeping the devices juiced up.
The intelligent power distribution feature means no matter how many devices you plug into this charger it will charge them without any issues. Here I would like to appreciate the fact that this small-sized charger features 3 USB ports, two of which are USB-C. And having a USB-A port as the third port is also a bonus as for me it was useful for charging my Apple Watch and Sony camera, both of which still use a USB-A cable.
While the 65W charger is great for charging your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and AirPods this charger also charges your MacBook Air at good enough speeds. However, since I own a 16-inch MacBook Pro I had to carry a larger capacity charger during my travels along with the Ugreen Nexode RG 65W to charge all my gadgets overnight.
Now let’s talk about the USP of this charger, which is its unique and cute design. I am a big fan of this robotic GaN charger and the LED display found at its front. This adds a nice playfulness to your setup and is a nice departure from the boring chargers that we have always used. However, one suggestion that I have for Ugreen for future versions of this charger is that the LED display would become more useful if users were allowed to also show the current output data for each of the ports especially when multiple devices are being charged. The switching between facial expressions and charging data can be toggled with an app connection or a toggle button on the charger.
The magnetically attached cover or ‘shoes’ of the charger are also pretty handy especially when you are carrying the charger around in a pouch or bag as the power connectors won’t touch and scratch your other gadgets.
All in all the Ugreen Nexode RG 65W USB-C GaN Charger is a pretty great charger and is a must-have for gadget lovers who like to own uniquely designed accessories.
