Next Tuesday on September 12 Apple will take the stage to announce its most anticipated device of the year. The company has already sent out invitations for the event that it is holding at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park, a first for the company that moved to its brand new campus this year.
Now the company has updated the official Apple TV Events app to include the iPhone 8 keynote. The app now shows text and graphics related to the upcoming ‘Apple Special Event’ with description that reads “Watch the first-ever special event held at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California.”
If you don’t have the Events app already installed on your Apple TV, you can download it from the tvOS App Store for free. The event will be livestreamed not only for the fourth generation Apple TV, but users of second and third-generation Apple TV models having software 6.2 or later will also be able to enjoy it.
The iPhone 8 keynote livestream is not limited to Apple TVs though as users of iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and Microsoft Edge Browser on Windows 10 will be able to watch the event live. If you cannot watch the event live for some reason, then don’t worry as Apple usually uploads the whole keynote video to its official Youtube channel within a couple of days after the event.
