AirPort Tweak Adds AirPods 2 Support To Jailbroken Devices

AirPort Tweak

AirPods 2 users with jailbroken devices have to experience limited functionality on their new headphones. Since AirPods 2 support was added to iOS devices with the release of iOS 12.2, jailbroken devices running iOS 12.1.2 or lower are unable to display the very useful battery popup, which lets users know how much charge is left on their AirPods and the charging case.

The newly released AirPort tweak solves this problem by adding AirPods 2 support to iOS 12.1.2 or lower. After installing this tweak you will be able to get the battery popup every time you open the charging case’s lid and bring it close to your jailbroken iPhone or iPad. After downloading this tweak you will also get the remaining battery life information in the today view’s battery widget.

In addition to bringing AirPods 2 support to iOS 12.1.2, AirPort tweak brings some custom animations for the battery popup. From its settings, users can enable custom animation and change the way AirPods and the charging case appear on the battery popup. You can choose between Black AirPods, Default and Wireless Case animations. The Wireless Case animation replaces the normal charging case with a case with a wireless charging case with LED light on the front.

You can download AirPort tweak for AirPods for free. It is available through the Packix repo.
