The iOS 11 update brings a number of exciting new changes to the lockscreen’s design. If you are jailbroken you can get these changes on your iOS 10 powered iPhone even before iOS 11’s public release. The newly released LockscreenXI tweak for jailbroken devices brings the look and feel of iOS 11 lockscreen to iOS 10. LockscreenXI tweak is part of the ‘Eleven’ collection that aims to bring different features of iOS 11 to older versions of the operating system.
The most notable feature of the LockscreenXI tweak is that it adds the redesigned Now Playing widget. The widget is nicely designed and looks exactly like the one Apple has introduced in iOS 11. The notifications are shown right below the music widget giving the perfect iOS 11 lockscreen look right on iOS 10. Users also get the ability to reduce the size of the music widget by tapping on the ‘Show Less’ button. Doing so will give the widget a minimalistic design that looks really nice.
Lockscreen music widget is not the only notable feature of the LockscreenXI tweak, as it also brings the redesigned passcode screen to iOS 10. This can be seen by noticeably different passcode buttons.
The LockscreenXI settings allow users to separately toggle on/off the music widget and passcode features of the tweak. So if you are not a fan of either one of these you can turn them off while keeping the other one active.
You can download the LockscreenXI tweak from Cydia for $0.99.
