With the release of iOS 9, Apple introduced some really cool multitasking features that make it easier for users to use multiple apps on their tablet at the same time. Unfortunately these features are limited to the iPad Air 2 and upcoming iPad Pro, and are not given to older iPad models. That changes today with the release of Medusa for iPad tweak, which brings the Split View and Slide Over features of the latest iPads to older models.
For those of you who are not familiar with these terms, the Split View feature of iPad allows users to have two apps running side by side, letting them interact with each one of them at the same time. Slide Over feature on the other hand lets users quickly open an app to perform a quick task, such as replying to a text message or checking Twitter feed while using any other app and then sliding again to put the app tray away.
If you are interested in getting these new features on your older iPad, then simply download the Medusa for iPad tweak from Cydia’s BigBoss repo. The tweak is available for free and supports all iPads running iOS 9.
