New tvOS that powers the fourth generation Apple TV features its unique design elements that make it different from iOS. If you are a fan of how alerts on tvOS look, then a new Cydia tweak called Palert can help. With this tweak you can get redesigned notification alerts that take up the full screen and feature a blurred background, making it look very similar to how alerts appear on tvOS. This gives iOS a fresh look and provides Apple TV and iOS users with a unified experience across their Apple devices.
Palert tweak also changes the way buttons, text fields and alert text look. Instead of getting boring old white popup alerts you get beautiful looking full screen alerts. Some of the areas you will see the new alerts include airdrop alerts, App Store alerts, mobile data warnings, iTunes login, low battery warnings and more. From Settings you can enable or disable the tweak, change the blur radius, enable alternative style for buttons and specify if you want to include wallpaper in the background or not. You can also choose a specific background color for the blur effect, which has a noticeable affect on how the background looks.
Palert tweak is available at the BigBoss repo, where it costs $0.99. According to the developer it works iOS 8.4, iOS 9.0.2 and iOS 9.1. It is a universal tweak, so you can download it on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
