Pip Tweak Brings Apple Watch Inspired Charging Screen To iPhone

If you are an Apple Watch user, then you would be familiar with its useful charging screen that displays useful information to the user. A new jailbreak tweak called Pip brings a similar charging screen to the iPhone.

When Pip tweak is installed users get an always-on charging screen while their iPhone is connected to power. The Pip charging screen displays useful information like charging status of the device, current time, date, next alarm time as well as current charging percentage.

Normally users are required to tap on the screen if they want to see the charging status or time. The best thing about this tweak is that it brings always-in feature to the iPhone lockscreen, something that is missing by default.

In addition to adding an Apple Watch inspired always-on charging screen to iPhone, Pip tweak also has a Nightstand Mode, which makes it possible for users to use their phone as a bedside clock. In Nightstand mode users only see the current time.

Pip tweak allows users to customize the look and feel of the charging screen and the Nightstand feature according to their liking. You can change the color of the charging indicator and on-screen text to match your personal preferences.

Pip tweak looks especially good on OLED display iPhones and takes advantage of the true blacks these screens are capable of showing.

You can download the Pip tweak from developer’s repo by adding ‘https://dylanduff.com/repo’ to your Cydia or Sileo sources. Pip is a paid tweak and is available for $2.00. Pip is compatible with iOS 13 or later.
