Wouldn’t it be cool if you could perform different actions such as entering a few words of text such as your email address or run an activator action by simply typing a short keyword based command? Well if that is something you would like to do, then the new Protonix tweak is here to help. With this powerful Cydia tweak you will be able to choose a keyword of your choice and assign it to some text or activator gesture. Whenever you type that particular keyword the assigned action will be performed.
Protonix tweak is not limited to simple text entering as it is also capable of entering dynamic text. It offers a number of features related to keywords including custom keyword prefix and suffix, case sensitivity for keywords and nesting of keywords that let you add keyword inside another keyword. With activator support the possibilities of this tweak’s usefulness are limitless. You can perform different actions on your device and perform tasks using keywords that would normally require a lot of work.
For example, you can create keyword for entering today’s date and simply insert the date or time using the @date keyword. Similarly you can enter the now playing song in a text field by creating and typing the nowplaying keyword, which is great for messaging.
Other useful actions that you can perform include turning WiFi on, entering your IP address, reboot the device, launching an app and much more. There are some keywords included by default such as date, time, IP address, now playing, paste, udid and magic8ball. You can create more from tweak’s preferences.
You can download the Protonix tweak from Cydia for $1.50, where it is available in the BigBoss repo.
