StatusBright tweak lets users change brightness by sliding on the status bar

One of the most effective ways of preserving iPhone’s battery life is having the device’s brightness at a lower level. Apart from battery you can also increase or reduce the level of brightness to make your screen more visible when you are in bright lighting conditions such as in sunlight.

A new tweak called StatusBright makes altering brightness of iOS devices much simpler by allowing users to change it through the status bar. With this hack installed you can simply swipe on the status bar to increase or decrease the brightness. To level up you can swipe towards right side or to level down you can swipe towards left.

On iOS 7 changing brightness level of the screen isn’t that complicated as it used to be before, since you can do it through the Control Center however the StatusBright provides  a quicker way to do it.

So if you find yourself changing the brightness levels of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch all the time then StatusBright tweak is something you should definitely check out. You can download it from Cydia for free.

There are no settings to configure for this package and it does not add any icons on the homescreen.
