Mario Kart Tour Finally Launching for iPhone And iPad On September 25th

Nintendo’s highly anticipated Mario Kart Tour game has finally got an official launch date with Nintendo announcing its game will be available for both iOS and Android platforms on September 25th. The release date comes around 1 and a half years after Nintendo first announced its plans of releasing the widely popular game on mobile platforms.

Originally the game was planned for a March, 2019 release however it is launching with a major delay of around 6 months. Despite the delay fans of the franchise are pretty excited to see their favorite game coming to iOS.

Nintendo has even launched the Mario Kart Tour App Store listing and is already allowing users to pre-order the game. The game according to the listing is going to be available as a free download however it will offer in-app purchases. It looks like Nintendo is going for the same free-to-play model it followed with Super Mario Run in which the game offers some levels for free and then requires the users to purchase in-app purchase to unlock more levels.

If we look at the Mario Kart Tour App Store page it also says the game offers in-app purchases ranging from $1.99 to $69.99. The game will also require to the device to be connected to internet at all times.

This is not the first Nintendo game to have come to the iOS platform. Previously Nintendo has brought popular titles like Super Mario Run and Dr. Mario World to iPhone and iPad.
